Welcome to Vainona Primary School
Construction of Vainona Primary School started in 1959 and became operational in 1961 as a whites only school. Before the construction of the school the area was a farm owned by the Vainona family. Mr Vainona took part in the World War 2 and was given the farm as a token of appreciation .The school committee was formed in 1963 and first projects were the school hall and swimming pool.
